I wrote this song one cold dark winter, not completely understanding what it was exactly that I was saying. Unknown to me at the time, it was my last winter with my dear husband. By the next year, he was gone, over the mountain, and I was left to make sense of a life without him in it. May he find the warmth of the full sun where he is.

This is dedicated to all who mourn the loss of loved ones. Please remember, the loss - though it rips and tears now - is impermanent. One day we will also leave it all behind and we'll again run together with our loved ones. Let's follow the sun.
